Fun Times Together Or My First Group Trip

As an avid traveler, I can write several dozen blog posts about how convenient it is to travel on your own. You are your own boss and can visit just the places you always wanted. While I’m a lone wolf at heart, I can’t overlook the fun and excitement of group travels. Whether you are lucky enough to collect a group of friends for your next trip or resourceful enough to find a team of like-minded strangers, group travel is fun.

After traveling alone or with one friend or a girlfriend I was sort of hesitant about going with a group. I had a thousand of organizational questions like:

  • What if they refuse to go where I want?
  • What if they are early risers and I want to sleep in?
  • Do we always split the restaurant bill or make the poor waiter create separate checks for each one of us?

Surprising enough, when I finally got all my bravery together and tried a group trip to Europe a few months ago, I completely forgot about all these questions. I came up with new ones.

  • Why are there only 24 hours in a day? I need at least three more to talk to these people before going to sleep.
  • Where do I find the appropriate words and Telegram stickers to express all the overwhelming emotions in the group chat.
  • Did I really pay that little for the hotel?
  • When do we go again?

After the first wave of excitement washed over me, I tried to get myself together and record all the advantages and disadvantages of group trips.

Pros:

  • It’s cheaper. Heck, yes! Sharing the tour tickets, hotel, and food costs is not just nice, it’s exciting. For the money you spend staying in one city for a week alone, you can go with a group for at least 10 days.
  • It’s more fun. I never had to think about what to do in the evenings. Socializing was always on the menu.
  • It’s safer. Many places I visited are not safe for a lone traveler in the night. When there are six of you, you just don’t care.
  • Individual tours. This is the best one. You don’t have to wait for scheduled excursions and tour guides so you can join in. You can order a personal tour for your own group and feel like kings.
  • Photos. No more strange-looking selfies! You always have someone to take an awesome picture of you in the most exciting places. At the end of the day, you can choose a few out of a hundred from 4 smartphones and one professional camera.

Cons:

  • The element of surprise. Even if you are traveling with friends, you might learn some unexpected stuff about them on the road. For example, they may turn out to be too lazy or overly active. They may love fighting with their girlfriends all night long. Or they spend long hours in the bathroom in the morning (in case you all live together).
  • You are not free to plan. I know I already mentioned this, but I want to stress this fact. You may not get to see everything you wanted. However, you and the group can plan for some free time when everyone goes where he or she wishes.
  • No alone time. When you are traveling with a group, forget about alone time. For me, it was the hardest challenge. By the end of the trip, I kind of got used to it. But the next time, I’m definitely booking a separate room.
  • They may hate Chinese food. The choice of a place to eat is always tough. We all liked different food. You need to plan for such things in advance and search for food courts or restaurants that serve a big variety of dishes.

Overall, my group trip was fun. I’ll definitely do it again soon.

How I had fun in Toronto

While I am in Europe and planning my long trip to Asia, I decided to tell you a little bit about some adult entertainment that I had in Toronto. Toronto is a place where you are alllowed to do anything that you want (for sure I am not talking about illegal things). If you want to smoke weed – you can do it almost anywhere, you can buy cannabis at the daytime in the center of the city without any problems. If you are looking for sex in Toronto – huge variety of girls, boys, shemales are available there. Night clubs, strip clubs, cannabis dispensaries – you have tonnes of options in Toronto.

Here is for example Cannabis Culture Dispensary in Toronto that I visited.

At the one day my friend Josh said to me: “Connor, you definitely need to have fun with torontonian girls”, and we went to the night club. There I met very nice canadian girl and we spent a wonderful night together. At the next day we went to Niagara Falls, and the day after Josh advised to spend time with girls again. Josh knows that I am from Croatia and prefer european girls, and he said that he knows wonderful escort agency in Toronto where mostly european girls are working, I never had deal with escort girls, but Josh was persistent. Why not, I thought, Toronto is a place where you should feel absolute freedom. And I was not disappointed. We met two girls, one of them was from Poland and the second one from Canada, I chose polish girl and it was absolutely amazing. In my previous post “Torontonian girls are best” I posted photo of my torontonian escort girlfriend from poland:) And here are few more photos:

My travel to Toronto was full of impressions, but this city is not for me. I prefer more traditional places:)

US Entry Waiver for My Friend

When you travel all the time, you get used to a variety of processes you must to go through in order to get permissions to enter other countries. Long-term visas, short-term visas, no visas but some papers to fill out, and etc. Even though I never had any problems when entering the countries I travel to, it turns out that there may be unpleasant restrictions. On the bright side, there are official ways to evade them.

While in Toronto, I became friends with a nice guy, who enjoys traveling almost as much as I do. Unfortunately, not all travel options are available to him. He is a Canadian citizen, who likes visiting the United States, which is luckily just around the corner. Unfortunately, due to some problems, he was denied entry to the country.

I did my homework and read up on the various reasons you could be denied entry. His is very simple. My friend managed to overstay the permitted period the last time he visited the US (I bet his reason was very legit and it had long blonde hair). Now, the authorities don’t want to see him coming to the country. Unfortunately, they didn’t give my friend a chance to explain the reasons for his overstay. The next time he tried to enter the country, he was denied.

We found out that there is a chance for him to evade this restriction by getting a US Entry Waiver. This document allows a person to enter the country regardless of the previous restriction. Unfortunately, it’s a rather long process, which can take up to a year. It involves collecting an impressive number of documents and filing them at a land border port of entry.

Since the process is awfully long, being denied the US Entry Waiver just because you made a mistake filling out the documents or missing one of them is disastrous. So we ended up looking for a company that deals with this stuff. We found a few suitable options but it would be great to hear your recommendations. If anyone faced such a problem before, please let me know whom to call. Maybe you have some smart tips for people getting a US Entry Waiver. Thanks in advance to everybody!

Toronto Island Park

I visited Toronto Island Park recently and want to show you some photos. If you are going to visit Toronto – I strongly recommend to visit Toronto Island Park.

You can reach Toronto Island Park via Ferry from waterfront. Toronto Island Park is big and there a lot of things to do there: you can walk, make barbecue, rent boat or visit some restaurants.
